Pageant time again.....
If you have been reading our blog for awhile you know that our family is involved every year with the pageant at our church. Last year Brianna sang a solo and this year Cole has had the privledge to play a very important role...baby Jesus! He has done a great job. The pageant started last Friday night and he was baby Jesus for four performances. I took a picture of him getting ready and on stage, but they are not very clear because I was so far away. Our friend who takes awesome pictures, took some with his camera which are much better, so as soon as I have some of those pictures I will post them. Brianna is also in it again and this year she is a gumdrop girl in the children's song. She does a little dance on stage, it is very cute!! Paul is also in it again, singing and acting.....

Happy Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My parents stayed and enjoyed Thanksgiving with us before they headed home to Chicago. It is the first time we have had Thanksgiving at our house. The week of Thanksgiving Al and his family came and stayed a night before they went to Disney World. They enjoyed meeting Cole and the girls had so much fun with their cousins.

Saturday, October 18, 2008
Well it has been a long time again since I have posted pictures. The time has just flown by and we are almost ready to have a new baby at our house. I decided not to try and catch up with August and September and just jump to October. October has already been pretty busy for us and we are only half way through. Brianna had a book character dress up day at her school which she loved. She chose to be Fancy Nancy and had a blast picking out her outfit. We also hosted a pumpkin painting party at our house. Friends came over with a pumpkin for each kid and we painted in our backyard. It really worked out well, there was hardly any mess! Brianna also got to go to a party at her dance school, that was a fundraiser for a faclity at a local hostpital specializing in childhood cancer, she had a great time and the school really had some cute activities. So far to wrap it up the picture below is from last Sunday night at our church. Shannon and Gregg dedicated there two daughters Addison and Presley and we had the privledge of standing up with them as Pastor prayed for them. It was special and Paul and I are glad we got to be apart of it. So please check out all the post and I will try and be better about keeping up:)

Flower girl #2....maybe
The girls are I were looking through some photo albums the other day when I came across the pictures of Brianna when she was a flower girl in my friend's wedding. Brianna was a little bit younger then Alexis is now but I could not get over how much they looked like. So I decided to put the dress on Alexis so I could compare even more. I tried to find the pictures of Brianna in the dress as well to post them on here so you could see...but no such luck...hopefully they did not get deleted off the computer! Anyways Alexis had a little too much fun..she is a little more of a crazy flower girl!

Learning how to use hammers....
At the Home Depot the first Saturday of every month, they have a kids project that you can go to. We decided to try it out. It is very cute! They are given a project that you help them with, this time it was a bird house, then when they are completed they get a pin that they can put on their Home Depot apron. The best part is it is all free! The girls loved using a hammer, notice Alexis is pointing the hammer at her head!

4th of July
The girls enjoyed the 4th of July this year. We started out the day going to a parade where they collected lots of candy! Then we went swimming, enjoyed some fried chicken and ended the day with the fireworks at night. It rained up until about 5 minutes before the fireworks started, so we almost missed them.

They are showing off some of their great candy they got at the parade
This is my attempt at a flag cake, at least it tasted good!
